Well here it is, my first blog entry from my iPod Touch. Can’t say this is the easiest way to jot down your thoughts digitally but it would come in handy when you’re short handed.

One of the downfalls about blogging on the Touch is the lack of any camera built in as the iPhone has. Having the ability to quickly snap a picture and quickly upload it along with an entry is definitely a robust feature.

Wait a second, listen to me complain about not being able to upload a photo to my blog while I’m compiling these words for digital transport on a device that is slim enough to fit in my pocket! Am I taking this for granted? No way!

Just try to fathom what our ancestors would have thought of the convenient technolgies our generation is using. I am definitely enjoying some of the gadgets from this day and age. Just in a couple days Apple will be shipping the highly anticipated iPad. Another wonderful piece of technolgy to make our lives more convenient with the capabilities to be your ebook or emagazine, your photo album, your portable gaming device, your portable flat screen video player… and who knows what else developers will discover uses for.

Well as far as adding an entry to my blog using my Touch, it has been a challenging pleasure. I look forward to future practice using the virtual qwerty keypad of the iPod and will just have to continue uploading photos the longer method of downloading the photos from my Canon 50D via flash card, then process, downsize and compress for web, then finally batch upload the images to the media gallery. Phew!
Who’s complaining about convenience?
